Artist Jim Clift creates original, handcast, carefully detailed fine pewter designs of the highest quality.

After studying at Boston University and Umass-Dartmouth, Jim Clift served as an apprentice with a noted Italian metalsmith working in Rhode Island. After several years, this led to commissions and freelance work for a number of manufacturers.

Growing increasingly restive with corporate work, however, led to the development of a more personal statement.

Today, Jim lives and works in Coventry, Rhode Island, with his wife and business partner, Lynn, and their two daughters. A staff of skilled craftspeople produce a wide variety of designs sold throughout North America and worldwide.
